@Go Vols!: Of course, a win is a win... but Bugatti beating them by 12 mph (256 mph vs 268 mph) is a trouncing. Winning by 2 mph, is "meh".

@TheClap: I would disagree. Bugatti was able to raise the bar from 256 mph to 268 mph - that, I find impressive because it's much more than an incremental upgrade.

@uRbAn: I don't believe that the M5 can be considered a supercar. The term is defined by power-to-weight ratio and the M5 is pretty heavy. While powerful, it also doesn't have the handling of a supercar as well.

@Feny: The only Alpina that I know of for sale in the US in the B7. I believe the 5 and 3 are Euro only at the moment.

@Mex: 2 mph actually, but it does seem pretty silly to try to beat it by such a small margin.
