@Mooncow27: I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're being facetious, but I'm also going to promote your comment so you can be mercilessly ridiculed if it turns out you aren't.

@mbargo06: AT&T goes bankrupt overnight.

@asten77: That would imply international iPhones have a "good chunk" of the same issues domestics units do, which (poorly executed minimalism withstanding) is not what I've heard. Are there sources to go with your claim?

@ws450r: You'll be grandfathered in for as long as your current contract lasts.

@smegz: I want to say I read somewhere it's 9mm, but now I can't find a source so don't quote me.

Never buy refurbished electronics, ever. If you do, you deserve what's going to happen.

It's sort of inconvenient though because now you have to drive all the way across the GWB for cheap drugs and sex.

Tiny Ingrid Newkirk is gonna be pissed.

@FlyingAvocado: From the sound of it the system has already been abandoned, regardless of whether or not it's replaced.

@Victor V.: Could a drug company put, in super fine print at the bottom of the list of side effects, "purchasing this product overrides all of your rights as a citizen and a human being," and then claim indemnity from any damage the drug goes on to cause? After all, if they bought the drug, they must have known they

@AvalonBright: A modicum of research might help you "get" it.

That doesn't look nearly bright enough to help with SAD. It looks more like a nightlight.

@rabid chipmunk: It's a strip search. A fast, convenient strip search, but that's all.

@AimAtTheFace: What the hell are you talking about? Rights are free, granted to you at birth by virtue of your being born a human (congratulations, by the way.) In the US man has a right to privacy (3rd, 4th and 5th Amendments;) he does not have a "right" to fly.

@rabid chipmunk: If that's what the scanners and pat-downs actually ensured then I'm certain Americans everywhere would rally behind them, but at this point there is no evidence to suggest they will stop a determined suicide attack. What we need is smarter security, not a heavier application of 20th century

Government is just a dog show now. The majority of voters don't care about a smart solutions or long-term plans; they want an instant fix. It's really demoralizing.

@RutgerHauer: More valuable than everything on this list combined.

@Tristan Lenzo: You don't take chances when thousands of lives could be at stake.

Can't you turn it off?
