@Randal T Scandal: Not to mention how many people have invested a lot of money in his apps/iTunes ecosystem. Just up and quitting Apple isn't a really attractive solution, and he knows it. It's like he's saying "if you don't like what my heroin is doing to your body, you can just give it back."

@bigbenxxx37: Normally I'd agree with you, but after what we just saw, what makes you think Steve is capable of admitting a mistake in front of his employees if he can't even do it in front of his customers? The guy is cracked, and Apple shareholders ought to be fuming.

@tumes: Oh I know, but in light of all that has happened I think it's fair to say that Apple walked away more bruised and battered than my beloved Gizmodo. It made me chuckle, anyway.

@Sport6: Walmart's return policy on electronics is 15 days. I don't know if Apple will take it back, but I really doubt it.

Wow. Stunning. I didn't think Apple would make everybody happy with one press conference, but I didn't expect them to piss us all off even worse instead. Steve Jobs is deeply, severely out of touch.

@Ian Logsdon: That's great, but selling me the phone like Stevo doesn't answer my question. You haven't told me why it's better than my phone, which has almost all the same features, and some things the iP4 doesn't.
