Same here, and I am definitely not a psychopath. I may be crazy, but being over-empathetic and feeling guilt for days after accidentally hurting anyone’s feelings in the tiniest way are pretty at odds with psychopathy.

iZombie.

Ohh, didn’t she do a video showing all her acne for the first time and then get a lot of awful hate for it? I have some memory of that.

My brother’s friend thinks like this (though he’s pro-choice). My brother’s friend also does lots and lots of crack.

Because movies aren’t making promises about products in order to get you to spend money on them. It’s like using falsies in a mascara commercial.

I am going to be Kate McKinnon’s Ghostbusters character. I have the right haircut, but can’t get the color bc cheap wash-out blonde dye just turns me grey. So a brunette version. But I am so fucking excited.

His other shows are definitely not great on women, though. But West Wing is like a religion to me.

Yeah, same (with post-season-five). CJ, Abby, Donna, Mrs. Lanningham, the woman who replaced Lanningham/Lily Tomlin, were all fucking fantastic.

Probably both, and maybe also the writers that Sorkin chose for the West Wing v for his other shows? Maybe as he got more successful he got more cocky and that made his women worse? Unsure. But I will always stand by the West Wing. I watched about 2/3 of an episode of the newsroom and was done.

I feel like The West Wing as a whole did pretty well with women, at least its central women (most of the time. not all the time), but everything else he did...did not.

What does that even mean?

Yes. I had very little sex in college, but LOTS of drunk make outs. A handful of maybe-sex-depending-who-you-ask-type-hookups.

He kept making sex jokes over and over, all the time, in various environments/contexts. Pervasive sexism, pervasive sex jokes.

I mean, maybe they just didn’t invite EVERYONE’s children.

Though if you were a bridesmaid, bringing the kids might be less disturbing than not showing.

Those require a reply though, whereas a “Hey ____, congratulations and have a wonderful day! Unfortunately something came up and I cannot make it; I’ll give you a call after your honeymoon to explain/catch up.” doesn’t.

Slut (is a meaningless social construct)!

It’s okay, that song was 7 years ago, not 10. Slightly better?

Katy Perry has continued to do some pretty ridiculously appropriative shit, costume-wise. Still doesn't mean she deserves to get groped.

I mean, you can not like the things a person stands for (it’s not like Katy Perry’s an abuser or a rapist, like some still-famous, still-making-bank artists) and also think that no matter what, non-consensual touching isn’t okay. Really should not be that difficult.
