Fair enough, it does make a big difference where you live. But when you live in a swing state/area, it really, REALLY does make a difference. For an extreme example: Paul Lepage, the IDIOT governor of Maine, won his first election with 37% of the vote, because the vote was split among 3 candidates.

Yup. I am hoping crazy tea-partiers will start having the effect on the GOP that guys like Nader have had on the dems.

Haha, yup :)

Yeah, I know the term — it's actually more of a 17th/18th century word — big in restoration comedies. It's just such a "WTF??" moment.

Win.

I think Warren would be a great Speaker of the House — I'd rather see her there than as president, at least for now.

That's an interesting point. I'm on the East Coast, and my main concern with a Hilary campaign is that so many of us have just been assuming she'll win that I worry we'll have another Scott Brown or Larry Hogan scenario (i.e., conservatives winning in a blue state bc dems just figured they didn't need to bother).

Yup. My friend is a HUGE Packers fan and as football teams go, they actually seem delightful.

But the 18th century wasn't good for ANYone except the always-fine-always-whining-about-it rich/landowning white men.

But doncha know how embarrassing it is to fight a girl and lose?

Either it's the most chilling way imaginable to describe the, erm, progression, of a man's hands over a woman's body, or he's calling these men "rakes," which is ooooold-fashioned in the 18th-century sense and fully acknowledges that they are not good guys.

Thanks :)

Okay I know I have seen this and will feel like an idiot when you tell me but...where is this from?

I googled "white male pain" hoping to find an amusing gif, but I just got hundreds of pictures of identical white men with back problems.

"The rake's process"?

Schrodinger's rapist?

My policy is: how do guys behave when I call them on the things they say, and after I've talked to them, do they amend/attempt to amend their behavior? I guess it's a "second chances but no third chances" policy.
