The trick is to get a wide variety of cheeses in your diet; you need to mix up the cows milk and goat's, maybe a little sheep; you need your hard cheeses and your soft cheeses, you need your blues.

Important distinctions between "broke" and "poor."

Yeah, I have had stress-induced anorexia (distinguished from anorexia nervosa; I wasn't trying not to eat, but I had no appetite and most food made me feel sick). It's effective, I guess, but super-awkward when your relatives compliment you and tell you to "keep up the good work." Uh, no thanks. When I'm done being

I prefer the cheese diet. You get protein and calcium so it's totally good for you!

I kiiind of buy into the Apple Cider vinegar obsession thing. It's amazing on my hair and my skin. I can believe that it'd do good things for the body. It just feels magic.

Sketchy and stupid. Gluten doesn't make you gain weight; either you'll eat *higher* calorie G-F shit and fail, or you'll lose weight bc you are cutting down on calories.

Yeah, I know vegans who eat very healthily, get plenty of protein, and occasionally pig out on carbs/fried things/all the other indulgent vegan things out there. Then I know people who combine veganism with an unnecessary G-F diet and a no-processed-sugars diet, and they pretty much only eat raw veggies.

Therapy? Unless you're using "depressed" to mean something other than its clinical definition, which if you are, please don't.

I just thought "well, they might be in really tiny crates!"

Good question.

The stated argument from the left is that we are all intrinsically equal as human beings and thus deserve equal treatement, which sounds fine on the surface. Since the 'social justice' argument implies attributes like race and sex are irrelevant to opportunity, then it follows the laws left wing parties pass should

That's not true; #alllivesmatter started well before those policemen were killed. I saw it all over fb and twitter. I'm glad the people in your newsfeed hadn't been doing that, but you are one person, and you not having seen something does not mean it doesn't exist.

That doesn't even make sense! All people aren't sexually harassed on the street/at work/threatened in sexually menacing ways etc...

This is somewhere between a breakup and a quitting story.

My first NYE after college, an out-of-town friend and I started pre-gaming with the Allen's Coffee Brandy (if anyone is from Maine, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you're not, basically four-loko) my old roommate had given me for xmas. We bar-hopped, and managed to have a really fun time doing so. I made out

Woahh. Getting pissed and leaving = reasonable reaction. Not wanting to go out w you again = reasonable reaction (I mean, I'd be hurt/upset). Smashing shit? That is fucking crazy.

Ugh, right? I have one-year-old niece now and every time I hang out with her my stupid uterus decides I want those things. Minus Omaha.

Woah. A human expressing sympathy for another human does not make them a "horrible human being."

Go you!!!

I am so, so sorry people were so utterly horrible to you for so much of your life. And please don't apologize for anything. You deserve to be heard, and to have people know what you have been through.
