You know, he has a nice face, but the rest of him really isn't doing it for me. The totally shaved happy trail doesn't help.

I am a big fan of limited wallowing windows.

Yup. It's the worst. I don't know how to handle it. We're kinda family friends too, and were friends first, so he'll always be there.

I would just like to observe that in the drop-down menu for "you've known your ex since," the years range from 1911 to 2037.

I have felt that, though. I tend to be most attracted to people who I think are roughly as attractive as I am — more so than I am to people I think are more attractive. I'm not 100% sure why, but, whatever, everyone has their thing in who they find attractive.

mmmm nachos...

Really? It seems INCREDIBLY rare to see any media representations of big women with smaller men, and a pretty frequent thing to see, as your friend says, the "King of Queens" pairing.

My non-interest in buff dudes is that I look at them and think "shit, they could throw me across a room." (Not saying this is logical, but that's the first thing I think, and it is not a thought that gets me going).

What? What was your interpretation of this article? The whole point was that the Daily Mail piece was absurd and that people have lots of different reasons for wanting/not wanting to date one another.

I'm all for showing respect by dressing nicely-ish (like, non-wrinkled clothes that fit) when, say, in class, or going to a museum, or doing things that other people put in effort to make really nice for you. Airports, grocery stores, *on your way to the gym*...why would anyone put in effort for any of those??

Any skin that is unwashed and excessively sweaty? Otherwise, no clue.

ask if I can take a picture with them?

Planes are the only [public] place where I feel like leggings and a tee-shirt are actually an acceptable outfit. No one will take that away from me.

That's my favorite thing about "free speech" people. "You can't tell me not to say that! I have free speech!" Oooookay dude.

But being "entitled to one's opinion" is very different than "doing one's job." As Mystal says, he did his job in getting Rice the lightest possible punishment. As an American, and not as an attorney, he has a right to say whatever the fuck he wants about Janay Palmer, but the rest of us have the right to say whatever

I hope so. Jamie Foxx is much more fittingly attractive for her than Seth Rogen.

People thought a black girl couldn't play Rue, who was described as having dark skin but not as explicitly "black." There is no limit to how dumb/awful racists can be.

If it's TOO loaded with pop culture references, yes, but not having any would also seem kinda weird and inorganic. Hopefully the trailer is just extra-peppered, and they'll be natural in the movie.

Exactly! I'm not asking anyone to like the show. Just chill the fuck out about it.

All three shows are very well-written, and all three shows have very different senses of humor. All three shows have serious fans and serious detractors, but Girls' detractors are way more vicious.
