Four people is very different than thousands of people. If you have four people who worked together on something, they can be whoever the fuck worked together on that thing. Once you start hiring tens and then hundreds and then thousands of people, then yes, you should be hiring diverse people.

I'm just confused by him.

Um, yes. Accurate. Also, religious organizations cannot dictate what people who don't follow their religion do.

So you are supporting birth control, but also saying that only stupid women become accidentally pregnant? But then you're also showing how many methods of BC can fail, so, why would the people for whom such methods fail be any less intelligent than anyone else?

I...think he is supporting abortion, just in a really douchy way.

Or you can have really really bad reactions to taking the pill; not everyone's bodies can handle than regular influx of hormones.

Yeah, cause women are the WORST. They want to be able to move through their lives without knowing they are statistically pretty likely to get raped AND they want workplace equality!? C'mon ladies, just pick!

Ugh, I am glad you caught it. Did you find out who did it/let it happen?

Yeah. I know a guy who's added shots to girls' drinks when they weren't looking/in the bathroom. That is not detectable, and is no less detestable than adding rohypnol.

Well, learning that inspired me to immediately donate to the Michael Brown memorial fund and to legal services for citizens in Ferguson.

You win at life.

I want to go to there so very much.

Trophy Wife was excellent. This I'm a little worried about. Though it's miles less insulting than "Jane the Virgin."

Are you solely comparing wrangling two creatures into a car, or are you talking about having kids v having dogs?

Yeah. I get the LW's complaint — having kids is HARD and also amazing — but it is far from the only thing in life that is both fulfilling and incredibly difficult (it just doesn't compare to having dogs). The world is plenty populated, why on earth should we try to convince people who would be very happy without kids

What? So no one who adopts kids, or raises their partner's biological kids, understands the bond? That is such insane bullshit.

I think you can still use that tactic. If it means you're implying that they're being bad parents, well, they're the ones being racist/teaching their kids to be so.

How? Seriously? In some families, the choices are deal with someone, or not see anyone. So, sure, you have the second option, but if you wanna be in touch with the rest of your family, you usually can't decide to just excise one person. But if you have an actual answer, I'd be genuinely interested to hear it.

For some reason, I give my dog a lot of food-related nicknames (like "noodle," "kugel," not normalish ones like "cupcake").

You can definitely look down on people when they make choices that harm other people. You should not look down on people for things they cannot control, or things they can control but are just different, not harmful — e.g. having kids, not having kids, having lots of sex, not having any — but looking down on people
