Which was why the transport sniper rifle was so ridiculous. With teleport technology there are so many much more subtle, elegant was to kill someone that attaching a transporter to your sniper rifle makes about as much sense as putting a lightweight collapsable carbon fiber/TPR handle on a stone headed axe.

There's a ST:DS9 episode where the locked room murder is done with a rifle fitted with a transporter than transports the bullet in front of the target after its fired. Definitely one of those moments where its cool for about 5 seconds after you hear it and then you realize how thoroughly stupid it is.

That won't help you. They seem to be running stuff just long enough for you to get into it, then they cancel it and sit on the unaired eps for 6 months. Its almost like they're honing their geek torture skills.
