I never understood what people mean when they say a book is "banned". I read most of these during my early teens. They weren't particulary hard to find. I'm pretty sure most I got from the library, and A Wrinkle in Time was on a school book report list. So I don't get it. So what if some county in Texas decides kids…

@Becky Gies: The thing is, if you're the kind of person that sneers at subtitles, the pacing in Let the Right One In will drive you nuts. The first time I saw it a friend brought her meathead boyfriend who shifted and semi-silently griped through the whole thing. Not the target audience.

@Annamatopoetry: I don't know that dynamic was that event in the Swedish movie, so I don't really think its such a big loss here. Let Me In has to take a slightly different approach or what would be the point. Shot for Shot remakes are boring.
