Minus the guardrails.

So you’re saying that BEV are actually way cleaner than the article is saying?

There are a few in my local area in San Diego that I occasionally see. Every time I see them I am disappointed they didnt succeed.

Dashcam footage of a plane crash (half mile away? Hard to tell) isn’t really “seeing people die”. It’s rather impersonal since we don’t see them before, during, or after.

As someone who backs-in to spots whenever possible, I agree, and the rationale of facing the direction of the cars waiting for the spot seems sound to me. The real issue here appears to be the too-short cords.

Aren’t they liquid cooled or something?

Resistance losses, lower material costs and the usual illogical Musk minimalism.

I agree the port location should be standardized. And I can actually see a legit purpose for it being in the back so that you need to back in — at least this way if you’re sitting in the car while it’s charging you’ll be aware of other cars lining up to be next and not be situationally unaware/heads-down while streamin

I don’t have an issue with the location of the charge port but the limitation for Tesla superchargers seems to be the cable length. I have only used rapid charging once from Electrify America and that and all the various Level 2 chargers I use (including the one in my garage) have long enough cables that they can

I have a Mach-E for my commuter. It’s efficient, quick when I need it to be, and quiet as hell on the road.

Im assuming the heli was in the wrong and flying through the literal glideslope for landing on that runway.  Not sure on the rules for that especially it being a military flight.

So wild that t he MAGA nuts who have for years been buying as many guns as they can because they are scared shitless of a government taking too much power from the people are now cheering on the very thing they were so afriad of.

That’s what Subaru is doing now; there’s a big, flat duct up against the bottom of the hood that pulls air from the top of the grille back to the top-mount intercooler. One of the main reasons hood scoops have fallen out of fashion is that engine cooling systems have improved to the point where enough air can be

Can’t un“sea” it.

Yes, great point! I’ll edit the story to mention that, actually. I personally haven’t seen any NACS-equipped non-Tesla chargers in LA yet, but hopefully soon.

I don’t see how this could be a civil matter. This wasn’t a group of people trying to protect a friend or retaliate against it for hurting someone, it was a mob of opportunistic assholes who wanted to break and smash something.  It could be an autonomous car or it could be the storefront of a store.  There was no

Are you high? In what world should we accept egregious vandalism as a “cost of doing business”? If someone ever breaks into your house and shoots you, I assume that’s “cost of owning a home” then? No emergency service involvement right?

True allows more ground clearance with stock wheels tires which is handy. And keeps the stock suspension geometry, which a some folks bro dozering out or sticking on the absolute biggest wheels/tires they can possibly fit don’t account for.

I mean portal axels just give you more pumpkin clearance without having to do with taller tires. And in this case a gear down.

Just slap one of these bad boys (slightly larger, of course) over some 360° stands that are just above ground level.
