Why not just report on what Netflix is doing? This was a weird way of delivering news. Literally zero details on the Netflix story. Were all users notified? Will they be following the same rules that were teased before? Did they make any changes to account for people who are in college or travel a lot?

I thought the side profile was a little squished, but honestly, it’s not that different from the real deal.

A halfway decent replica costs 99% less than the real thing. That is wild to think about.

I much prefer digital passes, but if someone wants a paper one, I have no issues with that.

You’d think Jalopnik, being absolutely covered in paid advertisement, would recognize something that isn’t. Just another media company trying to get clicks from drama instead of providing valuable content.

Yep, exactly. I work in advertising so that was my basis. Organic stuff isn’t looked at as being “advertising” it is just publishing a story or info for people to see, not really sell anything. Advertising would have some sort of targeting behind it and look to actively make people buy that product or increase

Maybe I am old school, but unless there is promotional money behind this it is more just an infomercial or customer story/testimonial than an advertisement. I can’t find if it is actually being promoted to show to more people than just organic views.

If it makes anybody feel better, one of those ducks he saved was Duck Hitler.

I’ll be that guy: stopping on a busy road against traffic control signs and devices to help wildlife is incredibly dangerous. I mean, I absolutely get it, and I would have been sorely tempted to do the same thing. But most of the time it’s not worth the risk to yourself and the other humans on the road. Make that

Yes.

They won’t get near that claimed range, but they’ll get far more range than most of them will need.  In surveys of contractors, it turns out the average drives about 75 miles in a day.  Yes, there are some that drive more.  But the thing people often forget is that they tend to drive to/from one site in a day hauling

This is kinda my thought as well. If a gas vehicle lights on fire, do we expect the manufacturer to respond, or just let the owners insurance handle it and converse with them?

I understand why it seems silly, but how are they supposed to do an ‘rca’ without the vehicle?  what does this person want Tesla to actually do here?

They produced over 400,000 vehicles globally in Q1 of this year. It’s expected that by the end of this year, they’ll have produced 1.6 to 2 million vehicles.  And 2 million vehicles next year is looking pretty certain.

I think the video submitter is correct that many drivers would correctly judge, as the car did, that there was plenty of time and clearance for both car and pedestrian. This was NOT a panic brake moment, as the car judged the velocity of the human. Your article alleges “without evidence” as the kids say these days,

A Bolt is efficient enough that you can charge it on a regular 110v wall outlet if you're going 75 miles a day or less. It's the big EVs that really need a level 2 charger (or if you drive a lot like I do)

This is the correct answer

Yea I remember reading that Chevy will pay for your home charger and installation. But didn’t look into it too much since I’m not in a spot to do all that right now. Hopefully other manufactures offer similar programs.

They’ll never change what I call it.
The Shlongerwonger.

I get to sit down all day when I work. Factory workers often don’t. Is that morally wrong? I get to work in a relatively quiet, semi-private environment. Factory workers don’t. Is that morally wrong?
