My best friend and I took the small engine class together in highschool. We were pretty “advanced” early (suspension swaps, clutch changes, timing belts etc). Him and I could break down and assemble a 5hp briggs in like 5 minutes. Our reward from the shop teacher? “do it again while the other teams are still on their

Yet when all these people saw visibility was starting to diminish, they all kept driving 80mph.

When my old Toro push-mower shat the bed last summer, I replaced with an EGO. Unless you’ve got an acre+ and/or absolutely only have one morning or afternoon to bang it out, there’s little reason not to make the switch.

Another good idea poorly executed. A better and more fair option would be to delete the gas tax and make both types pay a per-mile-driven tax based on weight and size. If you want to encourage ev adoption, keep the gas tax but call it a carbon tax and use those proceeds for healthcare.

I suspect they mostly avoid talking politics and just focus on the tasks at hand.

Born leader right there. Watch this kid as he will become either be a successful politician or a business leader.

I cannot imagine how awkward it must feel to be a Russian Space station member. More than likely they are completely against the war and yet can’t say one word against it as their activities are monitored.

It boggles my mind that the ISS has survived in our political landscape for as long as it has. It seems to be one of the last symbols of, Hey look, we actually can all by civilized with each other.”

Now playing

Hard to distinguish between all the awesome specials they produced, but for a single segment, my go-to is Jeremy and the Reliant Robin. Can’t watch it without violent fits of laughter, and I’ve watched it many times... Yes, they messed with the Reliant’s differential to make it easier to roll-over, but it’s still

Model Y would smoke it at 0-60 in 5 seconds and has well over twice the HP. Jalopnik use to care about performance specs, but people suddenly treat that as if that is worth nothing because it’s a Tesla.

I own a Model Y, it’s definitely better than you’re giving it credit for.

Gonna call BS on this. Compared to driving a Model Y, a comparable gas car is like driving a farm tractor. They outsell everything globally, and clearly they are worth whatever Tesla decides to charge.

I know you’re just trolling, but ignoring the EV drivetrain, can you get a remotely similar sized 4WD vehicle for $30K?   Not even close.

I fully agree that the Prime has all the range most people need, it’s just unfortunate that it has to lug around all the weight and complexity of a ICE system for the few times that it’s needed, or if you just absolutely cannot have a second vehicle for any reason.

MPG and MPGe ratings are only as reliable as the driver. My Model 3 has a rated range of 315 miles, which I can just about hit if I try. But daily driving and enjoying the vehicle puts my range more like 275 miles which is a big departure from the rating. I see the same deviation in the gas cars I drive, the fuel

this test claiming that the car doesnt actually drive it’s claimed EPA range is somewhat asinine.

Pulse jets are just way too loud for the amount of thrust that they produce. I had a pulse Jet project in the works for years now but one of these small jet engines makes more thrust than a huge pulse Jet.

Its ok, I was there to guide them. I wasn’t going to let anything bad happen. But what they did after I left I’m not so sure about. The craft is on his way back to my shop where I’m going to modify it and do a few videos.

Damn. That was impressive. Thank you!

The “requirement” for a heli pad apparently might not have really been known until he got into a relationship with a person who flies helicopters. Given the lead time on building a vessel of this size, the timeline checks out.
