This is maybe the first time I’ve ever heard a real complaint about self checkout. I love it. We switched our allegiance to a different grocery store change during the pandemic exclusively because it had self checkout and the one we used to go to didn’t, and I can’t imagine switching back. One of the stores of this

Interesting, didn’t know that. I suspect the Model 3/Y does require power. I’ve never attempted to force it open, but I have seen people attempt to close my port after I unplugged (but before it closed itself, presumably thinking it wouldn’t close itself), and there was a brief grinding gear noise until they stopped

Perhaps, though forcing it may result in needing to replace broken parts

If he caught the problem quick enough and plugged in, yes. But since it seems like it sat at 0% for a while (which drained the 12V), the charge port door could have been locked shut.

For some clarification, this didn’t happen just because they let the main high voltage battery get to 0%, but because the 12V had died.

Tesla does have OEM snow tires available, at least for Model S/3/X/Y, but you have to purchase them separately from the car purchase itself. But Tesla can still install them for you. Presumably they will have Cybertruck snow tires available, but I don’t see them at this very moment, but I do see OEM tire chains.

Now, do they both have on the stock pavement tires? Or for effect would they only put snow tires on the Porsche?

I did hear something about how the radiator didn’t fit but also missed where they put it. I am also guessing it’s relocated to the trunk, I noticed the hole thing in a few scenes:

I’ve never seen anything before suggesting that the diagnosis was fraudulent.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. 2020-2021 was the year where a huge portion of the American population decided that absolutely everything was political. Their opinion is if the government made a rule and they follow it, it just makes them a sheeple. Even if it’s not benefiting any party unequally, especially if

Maybe he’s afraid. Or maybe he’s tired, or hungover, or stressed. Or maybe it’s a consistent and ongoing propensity for drug abuse.

Considering other existing Tesla models are compatible with CCS protocol, and that was a somewhat recent change, I seriously doubt that is the reason. I personally own a 2023 Tesla Model Y with CCS charging enabled, and a 2018 Tesla Model 3 with an updated ECU from the Tesla parts catalog that I DIY installed myself th

This had been confirmed elsewhere in this thread a week ago. Where we left off is the suspicion is it was specifically made incompatible with the 500v Tesla-to-CCS1 adapter, because bad things could happen if you were charging 800v with an adapter only built for 500v.

Not my car, but a friend’s car. We were on a short road trip during winter in his 1990s Audi A4, which (spoiler alert), had terrible cup holders.

Excitebike 64 was the one I had. Definitely brought back memories watching a little bit of that one

Maybe also wait times. I don’t know about other parts of the country, but there are only a couple Tesla shops within a few hour driving distance of me in NH (and none actually in NH), and the parking lots are always overflowing with cars parked haphazardly with their flashers on. I’ve heard even other shops for other

And I forgot to also say, and maybe this is even the most significant reason, they all had less than a year until they were out of warranty.

keep in mind that Hertz is jettisoning these Model 3s due to their frequency of faults and high repair costs when damaged

Let’s not forget how many tries it took NASA to get to the moon in the first place. We have way different standards to meet these days and the entire industry is rusty (and most people from the Apollo program are retired or dead now).
