What’s the capacity of the Football stadium at Chico State?

I’d rather have Porzingis and Zion, and then sign Kyrie.

You alternated “Boogie” and “Cousins” throughout the first 3/4 or so of the piece, and then you went full tilt “Boogie” at the end with 4 “Boogie”  mentions in a row. That is some Boogie Wonderland you fell into, isn’t it?

It’s too bad they dropped their round table discussion on the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act to sink so low as to take this turn.

I’m wondering if you’ll see Manny or Harper sign for more money for fewer years. I think the Pujols and ARod deals are never, ever. the new style should be to ask for a four year, $160 million deal.

“They don’t have to worry about hiring people to handle concessions or security or infrastructure for an entire section, so it’ll be cheaper to host each game, even as the day’s gate is higher than it would have been before the elimination of the 300 level.” - Barry, concessions make money, so hiring people to man

Bulls fans were most likely chanting “MVP” because when he was with the Bulls, he was, in fact, the league MVP one year. What’s insane about that?

Sold the games they moved to Sunday night, plus the first round playoff game (they actually let season ticket holders buy another pair, so I’m still going, plus profit). This year paid for next year’s seats!

However, imagine if he had given big money to Cousins.

If not for Bettman and his willingness to shut down the league, Ovie would have had a really, really good shot at passing Gretzky for all time goals scored.

Hey, the Milwaukee Bucks retired Bob Lanier’s number. Konerko was the most visible player on the team that won a championship after almost a century, and is second all time in Homers, RBI’s,  games played, etc. He’s like the Lou Gehrig of the franchise.

Jesse Orosco thanks you, and Paul Konerko.

No mention of the best version of Chinacat/I Know You Rider from Alpine Valley? He’s slipping.

Nah, I’m having more fun seeing you say that age is meaningless in the minors. “there are plenty of lifers in the minors” - yeah, but he’s not a “lifer”, and he brings nothing to the organization except extra dollars and publicity, which if you think is a better way to make money than actual winning baseball, then

Can you tell me how many AA players are 31 with no MLB experience and are below average fielders? A .734 OPS for a guy well past his peak years at AA translates into what in the majors? Oh, and if he’s “fine” for a AA player, why is he heading to AAA?  It’s a fucking joke.

“Somebody has to play and the Mets system is pretty devoid of outfield prospects.” - right, so maybe work harder, find some young FA’s that someone else discarded or overlooked. And Age is the key here, as you touched on; as for the WS, they’re in a fuull rebuilding mode, and having guys fill spots on the big league

He’s not playing well enough to be on the AA “on merit”. No other 31 year old would be on the roster with those stats. If he 19, yes. If he was 23, yes. #1? No, no chance.

Some wonder why the Mets farm system is ranked 2nd or 3rd worst. Just some.

I think when you have the 3rd or 2nd worst ranked minor league system in the majors that this just stinks. Maybe its a great feat that he can hit above his weight at a new sport, but it does nothing to help catch the Braves or Phillies. Give him his participation trophy and tell him to go home.
