who hurt you?

I really liked the open-ended narrative from the first game and lead to me making up characters for my dungeons. In that vein, I always thought 1 would make a kick-ass 8 episode Netflix series... each one focusing on a single character (and their past) as they dig through the various dungeons until the survivors come

At least give William H. Macy kudos for delivering this line absolutely deadpan serious:

Anciently belated reply, but yes I was referring to when her older sibling inhabits her body or whatever it is and she’s wearing Pearl’s clothes. While it may not BE Pearl, there’s still some weird sexualization of it all that genuinely felt uncomfortable.

This was an investor call with the handful of big institutions that control a large amount of shares and can singe handily make a material impact on the stock price. Including those firms that manage all those retirement accounts. Obviously no one is talking about us rank and file retail investors with no real power.

I was really against the whole “Bringing Palpatine back” aspect when RoS came out, but looking back, it wasn’t that bad an idea. There is a reason why it’s the first thing Dark Horse did when they got the license in the 90s. It fits the character of Palpatine to have plans to cheat death.

What? Unhappy is seven letters, not five!
-me reading the first paragraph, realizing why I don’t do crossword puzzles

I was there during this panel in person. It was so unbearable to be in the room during the devs and the audiences responses. I was 21 at the time and knew that it was some bullshit being said. Up until that point I held game devs on a pedestal, thinking they must be great people to have made this great game.

This was

In the video she asks the question, people in the crowd cheer and the men on the panel looks chastened. Then men in the audience start booing loudly and you can see the panel become emboldened to start openly making fun of her. There is a lessen here about the fact that the misogyny in the game industry is reinforced

I worked for Amazon and the anti-union stuff is real. They touted their open-door policy giving employees a direct line to raise concerns to management. Yes, they give you the freedom to go directly to management with an issue and they have the freedom to ignore the crap out of you since you have no real backing. Also

Corporations are Anti-Human. We need to be able to break up these corporations that abuse human rights and destroy the lives of their employees. We need to end legal bribery where corporations can give large payoffs to politicians. Fuck corporate America. Unionize.

Porkchop sandwiches!

The most ironic part is those kinds of fans would be the people He-Man and the guys from G.I. Joe were talking about in the after-episode moral lessons.

I bet exactly none of the rotating project leads ever considered making it a single-player story driven game a-la Red Dead but with pirates, and that saddens me

The Rebels crew are my favorite new characters created for Disney’s era of Star Wars, definitely. I mean really I don’t think any of them have been bad, even if some of the stories in which they appear have disappointed, but Hera is a high water mark for sure.

I was perfectly happy with Taskmaster in this film. She served her role and she served it well. It doesn’t bother me in the least or detract from the movie as a whole that the character wasn’t deeply explored. The movie wasn’t about Taskmaster. It wasn’t about Natasha’s battle against Taskmaster.

Good. I’m an Arthurian whore, but I’m sick of this cliffhanger bullshit.

As an outsider looking in at the fighting game community, this is the dumbest thing I’ve heard yet.

The song however, is pretty cool.

Assassin’s Creed games desperately need to be smaller, not larger.

Kevin, truly, can fuck himself.
