There are certain aspects that don’t need the market though. We have an Opium crisis because the Sackler Family decided it was best to market the stuff and whatnot.

Too close to a sitcom title.

Edit: Wrong comment to respond to.

There you go! Enjoy. I cannot drink beer, or at the least it doesn’t seem to agree with me. Cider’s my choice so maybe I’ll have to pick some up some time.

Might as well keep with the theme:

Your argument then is that because public schooling is broken, teachers should go to the private sector - either with a career change (Coding) or to private schools.

If you are gonna leave a book out for that purpose, I suggest ‘The Greatest Lie on Earth: Proof That Our World Is Not a Moving Globe’ by Edward Hendrie.

I could see someone paying for a paperback copy if they want to read it outside in front of a computer screen. In which case I believe $9 is cheaper then having the entire thing printed at a print shop.

Learning code is hard if no one teaches you an education.

This is probably why I love the Behind the Bastards podcast so much, since it goes through over and over and over how much people do not learn throughout history.

This scandal needs to be the defining thing about Trump’s administration.

I do not think I have ever heard that a public school was over-funded.

Majority is needed in both sides of Congress, sure. Once that’s established we really need Congress to narrow in on one major meaningful act though because expect there to be legal challenges immediately by the other side. You’ll also only see that majority held for at max 4 years, maybe 2 years more realistically.

Remember when it was called a big win that a Democrat won Alabama? Good times.

I sort of find it consistent to be honest. He did release the redacted report after all, which the part involving obstruction of justice was barely redacted at all.

Honestly? I’d rather see Barr in the Attorney General seat over Jeff Sessions or whatever Trump zealot that’ll be in there once he is fired- excuse me, asked to resign.

I agree that teachers in general need to be compensated more for their work, often it’s more than an 8 hour job as it involves a ton of work beyond the school hours.

I remember getting the Horizon Zero Dawn artbook right after it released and being a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a whole lot of concept art for the Machines in general. Looking back though, things like those Banuk Camp concepts are far more interesting as GG had to come up with certain cultural rules per each

Gives me Microsoft buying Minecraft vibes.
