You really cannot blame the Democrats on this one. The Obama Administration put a lot of safeguards in to prevent this from happening. Republicans reversed those and then just for good measure gave themselves a tax cut.

The Fate series is such a weird one to me. Of it I really only like Fate/ Zero the anime as it was well adapted, cuts out all the light novel nonsense, and in general was very good. Everything else that I have seen of the franchise is a bit “eh” to me.

. . . I know that. That’s what I’m saying. Everything Fox EXCEPT Fox News is being merged into Disney. Meaning that whatever revenue streams Fox News was siphoning off of the other properties is no longer in place. At least I’m assuming some money comes from that.

My guess is that it will be more of an issue after the Disney merger, as all but Fox News is getting absorbed in that. Meaning Fox News might be out some of its funding, depending on how the new ownership goes.

If Captain Marvel 2 explores the period between CM1 and Endgame, I’m totally expecting more Ronan. It would only make sense to make him her new big bad, maybe show the progress of him going from a Kree major enforcer to the rogue that he appears to be in GotG.

That is fair, there’s more exposure to racism now because it’s less demonized.

Accurate. It’s less that there’s suddenly more racists, it’s just that the racists are given less of a reason to hide it.

Yeah overall the final acts have been a good mix. Even Spider-Man: Homecoming ended with an out-of-character final fight where the vilain doesn’t die, and GotG Vol. 2's big finale was followed by a touching character send off.

Trump becoming the enemy of the world is sort of the best case scenario here. I am reminded of the final act of Code Geass in that case, although hopefully Trump doesn’t go that route.
