Yeah it’s basically a setting akin to generic fantasy with knights and dragons. You can get away with a lot while putting in little work overall.

Halo 1 is still probably my favorite because so much of the later levels involve the Flood-Covenant fighting chaos. Halo 2 kept that around a bit however it became entirely absent in 3.

I’m STILL mixed on Halo: Reach. Multiplayer is overall pretty okay, no real complaints there. Story was excellent.

Bloodborne also exists with the idea that everything is going to be hella dark too, which never helps with making level design easy to navigate.
