Do you remember how everyone used to wear clothes that said “Abercrombie & Fitch” on them? It didn’t mean anything besides “I paid for something that says Abercrombie & Fitch on it.” That’s it. There was no deeper meaning to the words “Abercrombie” or “Fitch”. It didn’t do anything besides sit on your chest or…
Or go in the opposite direction and make them more meaningful. Either/or. They seem afraid to block off any significant part of the game for consequences to earlier actions. Considering how enormous Inquisition was, I don’t think anyone would’ve complained about the game being too short if one of those open world…
You know, I knew that, but I forgot. It’s been like a decade since I played DA2 with a “Leliana’s dead” save file. But you’re right, thanks for the reminder.
I mean, you can disagree all you like. But you are the first person I’ve ever seen call it the renegade ending.
I’ve always wanted Bioware/EA to invest in smaller scale ME/DA games. Like... visual novel style RPGs. Something where we can enjoy new lore and new types of stories that aren’t just action shooters.
It’s not like Bioware hasn’t done major retcons before.
It wasn’t made in six months. But the bulk of the work was a rushjob in its final six months to piece together from what they’d made. Kotaku actually did a huge write up on Bioware that outlined some of Andromeda’s development difficulties, if you wanna look it up.
Hoo boy. I don’t really want Shephard to return, as I’d prefer a new trilogy tread new ground instead of being focused on ‘hey, remember all of your friends from the good old days?’
Solid idea. Considering Reapers were around the entire Milky Way and there were multiple instances of individual Reapers being defeated, it’s at least a possibility.
I... heavily doubt that, but I suppose it is possible!

Now to get serious: it’s clear that Twitter’s pay-to-win future is looming. Are you ready for it?
I wanna push back against this notion even though I’m not much of a JRPG guy, because even when a genre is inflated with entries, there are still good and bad ones.
Same here. It would often drop to like... $35-ish, and then I’d hop on to get the free monthly games.
Yeah, there are a lot of tactics that work well in low level play that absolutely do not at high level play, and it distorts overall opinion.
SBMM has an inherent problem not in that it exists, but that people on the whole refuse to believe their ranking they’re given and don’t understand that, at some point in their progression, they will encounter people who are better than they are. That’s just the law of averages.
Tangential story I feel like sharing:
Because the wait times are five minutes and my time to play is short.
So, I actually really enjoy playing support roles. But I’m starting to genuinely get sick of them due to feeling forced to play them.
