Assuming equivalent qualifications, I would ALWAYS hire someone who had spent time doing a hard physical  job rather than one who had done nothing but get As in general education.

Every job is a dead end job, no one lives forever.

People who sell college, and “opinion leaders” who went to college, are all about selling the product and not looking foolish.

Serious question- aside from cosmetics, would just flipping a brand new car necessarily foul its workings up? I know it’s case by case, but there might be some bargains.
