Jon Bernthal is Japanese?

Michael Mando is terrific and gives that game all its personality. I have no idea why they wrote him out of the story, to say nothing about that horrible, horrible ending.

Metroid: Clan of the Space Bears, where you have all your furs, sticks, and slings in the first level, but lose it and must regain it piece by piece over the rest of the game.

If only there was some video game series where the player rode dinosaurs, gathered mushrooms, and overcame enemies with brute force and/or throwing fire.

Oh I don't look like him, but I did once kill a bunch of mobsters for harassing my dog.

Keanu, probably. God willing I'll age that well too.

But none made of modeling clay… yet.

The woman caught in adultery shows up in John 8:1-11, but she doesn't get a name. The only hint at Mary Magdalene's background is in Mark 16:9 and Luke 8:2, where she's described as the woman "from whom he had cast out seven demons." Otherwise, she's only mentioned as one of the women who stays with Jesus through his

It's such a bizarre film. It's a huge stickler for historical detail (the Aramaic), but ignores or gets wrong basic stuff from the biblical narrative (conflating Mary Magdalene with the woman about to be stoned, which somehow everyone gets wrong).

I'm kind of surprised Smash Bros. never pulled out a Toon Zelda/Tetra hybrid as a character. She could handle more or less the same as Zelda/Sheik with a few small tweaks.

I know people tend to have mixed opinions about Twilight Princess, but it might have the best boss fights in the series. The four stage Ganon fight (possessed Zelda, beast, chase, duel) is one of my favorite game finales ever.

Dinner and a movie both Friday and Saturday night, with different friends. Zoolander 2 was really not good. Having more than one "a celebrity appears and that's the punchline" in a single joke(?) is pretty unforgivable. The movie only starts to find its feet an hour in when Will Ferrell reappears, but by then the

Interesting. Thanks for taking the time to write it down. Hudsucker is definitely due for a rewatch, so maybe it's worth seeing if it feels different on a second viewing.

That sums up my audience's reaction to just about everything: like the movie paused for audience laughter at all the wrong moments. Extremely awkward theater going experience.

Ah thank you, I was wondering what the hell that movie was.

The problem with season three was that once Jason Biggs was gone, our lead became the worst character.

Nine sequels and none are named Nermal Rises? I thought this was Hollywood!

I'd be curious to hear what that specific reading is. I wasn't crazy about the film, but I'm open to revisiting it with another perspective.

Despite the comment above about their tragedies hitting right away and their comedies taking a few viewings, Lebowski is the only Coen movie I've ever changed my opinion on. Same as you, I didn't get it the first time but loved it the second, third, fourth, etc. Everything else I've just reinforced my opinion on

Hudsucker is bottom three in my book. Jennifer Jason Leigh's ridiculous accent is great and I say "You know, for kids!" at least once a week, but as a whole it's kind of a mess. The literal magical negro stuff is especially painful.
