I assume it’s not what you intended, but this take strikes me as ableist. You know who usually finds comfort and inspiration from a dog who is different? Children who are different. I don’t see why we want to shit on that.

I’d say this is a case of the tail wagging the dog, but that idiom is a little too on the nose here. 

I think he’s an adorable little nugget, and I’m glad that, not only did he have a buddy along for the ride, but that that dog was rescued, too. Hopefully they won’t be separated.

Maybe to spare someone the same thing?  Or  let people know that it’s better to be yourself so you don’t slowly kill yourself trying to pretend to be someone else to please others?

Whitney was from Newark & was raised in Jazz Clubs. My money is on her and yes Ms. Williams would’ve caught those hands. It amazes me that people don’t know how Whitney came up. She was not here for the foolishness.

The thing I find interesting is that she also unfollowed her step sister and Tiny. That implies that she might not be getting much support from her immediate family. It takes strength to speak up to the people so close to you even though they’re wrong.

This was the best thing she could have done. I remember years ago, before I left social media altogether, I had to unfollow my parents and a few others for being reporters on their behalf. When you have a helicopter parent to the extreme like TI that account is just a searchlight to keep constant tabs on you.
