Um, just pointing something out: Yes, creating biofuels pulls CO2 from the atmosphere. But burning said biofuels releases that CO2 right back to the atmosphere.

This is exactly why floods suck so much more than other types of disasters: the flooded object still *LOOKS* just fine, but its so messed up in so many different ways. In a fire, earthquake, hurricane, tornado, etc, stuff gets obviously, physically mangled, destroyed. In a flood, your stuff is still right there,

I’m really excited about this new tech, and I give mad props to Mazda for focusing and investing in getting it as far along as it is, and I’m rooting the effort continues and brings this new tech to market.

If its got a Chademo port, it will charge to full in about 20 minutes.

I don’t know which I’d rather buy if someone was holding a gun to my head, this or the $48K Bentley from the shady used car lot...

Funny, almost the exact opposite happened to me. I grew up drawing cars wanting to be a car designer. My dad (a lawyer) though I should go into engineering for that. I hated it and changed to architecture (the university I was going to didn’t have an industrial design program).

As another mentioned, the dude’s name is Ludacris, and the reason he’s posing in front of an Acura Legend is because its his own Acura Legend that he still drives from before he was famous.

A Tesla plugged into a coal power plant and getting 100% of its electricity from that generates about the same amount of CO2 as a ICE car getting about 32 mpg.

No, come on. The car doesn’t depend on coal. The car runs on electricity. Create electricity however you want. The power generation portfolio is not static, coal and dirty forms are being phased out. Its friggin obvious.

Here’s the thing about Germany’s unrestricted Autobahn: The unrestricted sections don’t last very long, and quite often they are actually restricted due to construction or conditions.

For someone who knows as much of the reasoning for selling Jeep as I do, you’re sure pretty liberal with the “I’m right and everyone else is idiotic” standpoint...

If your (ie, the CEO of FCA) goal is to preserve and grow the value of FCA, then selling Jeep now for a short term profit doesn’t do much for that long term value of FCA.

Most EVs have the ability to schedule the charge time, so if your utility has time-of-use billing, you can set your EV to charge during off peak hours.

Not my car, but helped my friend fix it...

I think “wuht?!” or “wuhdju say?” are the terms you’re thinking of...

For anyone coming to the Cascades, Central or Eastern Oregon: Please, please PLEASE be incredibly careful that you DO NOT SET OUR LANDSCAPE ON FIRE!

A cousin of mine just graduated from high school. Parents have a pickup and an SUV. He wants a sedan.

Iceland arrested, put on trial, convicted and imprisoned many financial executives AND government officials (elected and appointed) for their roll in the financial crisis in 2008.

Here’s why you need it:
