If she’s working at the bottom and part of her tunnel collapses further up, trapping her underground, are you good with just leaving her there to die, or do you expect emergency personnel to put their own lives on the line and trust the rest of her excavation in order to rescue her?

I don’t care one pile of rotted, fly-infested, gooey, ass-stinking log of shit from a pissed off wet alley cat that just missed out on scoring half a dropped hamburger if these two assholes fight or not.

I just had similar happen to me. Our homeowner’s insurance was up for renewal and less than a month before the policy was set to expire, we got a certified letter from the insurance company claiming our house was in a state of disrepair with obvious signs of rot and damage.

I went to school with 27 Jennifers.
16 Jens, 10 Jennys and then there was her...

Not sure where you’re getting that information from. I’m sure seeing a lot of new trucks out there, from municipal fleets, construction companies, utility companies, etc. I’m working with a multi-state electric utility that is actively planning the replacement of their ICE trucks with electric.

Well, I’m working with a very large electric utility at the moment and they are actively working to replace their diesel line trucks with electric ones. They’re working with International, Freightliner and a couple other ones for electrically powered medium duty truck chassis designs. My argument was based on that.

The argument that WM is pitching is in bad faith. According to fleet operators, garbage trucks have an expected life cycle of 10-15 years, meaning these truck fleets will be replaced at least once before the 2040 deadline. There’s no reason they can’t phase in electric trucks between now and then.

I mean, maybe? I think the estrogen in birth control pills is far to low to actually cause a man to change much. I’m a trans woman and estrogen turned me from a straight man into a lesbian woman, and I’m still married to the same woman!

Looks like an all electric VW XL1. Cool.

Where do you think those private railways got the land for their rights of way in the first place? They got the land from grants from the federal government.

I’m going to just leave this here (mainly because I love this!):

Guess we should all just drive gas guzzling muscle cars. That’s sure to stop the planet from warming any more!

I find this kinda funny. I’ve owned a bunch of different types of vehicles over the years, and many of them have had door handle issues, particularly in winter when they freeze up. On 3 different cars I’ve had (a Volvo 1800ES, BMW 320i and a Pontiac Firebird) I’ve had to either completely tear apart the door handle

Should be good to learn on. Nice, sophisticated car without being too overly complicated.

Just FYI: transitioning from one gender to another isn’t, you know, fast. It takes a long time, like most people take a year or 3 to fully transition.

I honestly don’t understand people who get mad at a build. I get the whole contradiction of putting a V8 in a Tesla, but I don’t get why that should make someone mad. Putting a V8 into a Tesla is funny. Its ridiculous. In a way, its kind of the automotive equivalent of gender dysphoria, the Tesla transitioned! from

They do tend to have plenty of roof space for solar though...

The statistic is for sales, meaning, the prices paid by the consumer for the cars. For pretty much every manufacturer except Tesla, MSRP is just that, the “Suggested Retail Price”, which means the number that GM puts on their website for a Suburban or a Spark normally has a fair amount of fluff to it compared to what

New car prices are up 12% over the year. That’s an *average* of $4,872. What that means is that cars that aren’t in demand are seeing little to no increases, where cars in high demand are seeing much higher increases.

Hate to break it to you, but your gas lawnmower was probably made in the same country as the electrics, AND it pollutes.
