Agreed, although I was really hoping for Aptera. The 3-wheeled concept is a bit of a reach for a lot of people, but I really liked the styling of the Aptera, particularly the electric version. The Elio to me seems like a 3-wheeled car trying to pass itself off as a regular car, whereas the Aptera felt like a new form

I must have missed something somewhere, because I thought this was their plan anyway.

Not everyone who loves cars loves loud cars.

Its called being considerate to other people.

Yes. There isn’t a single day that I don’t hear some ego-fragile dude floor his retro-muscle-car/lifted douche truck in a stupid peacocking effort to show off. Seriously, people react to this shit with the same annoyance as friggin car alarms.

When I first got my convertible, it took me a few embarrassing situations to cure my habit of expressing my frustration with other drivers verbally. Not road rage stuff, more like “Oh, so you’ve been sitting in the turn lane for 3 minutes and you decide to put on your blinker NOW?!”

Judging from the yellow plate on the back and the amber turn signals, I would guess this is on an air station in the UK. Camaros and G8's probably aren’t as readily available there as the Model S, and the Model S is fully normalized with the UK regs, so they can easily drive the car on normal roads as well as on the

The BMW 3-series was first introduced in 1977.

Yeah, but how many of those first 30 resevation holders actually wanted the base model?

“Oh sorry, that one’s not in stock right now,”

If you had been paying attention (which, if you plonked down a $1k deposit, you probably would be), you would know and understand that the car starts at $35k, but (like every other car on the planet) the price goes up from there when you add options.

Why would a Model 3 owner want to let you know anything about it? You’re just going to twist it around into something negative.

What the...?

Oh! That was a joke. Sorry, totally missed it. Guess it wasn’t a very good joke. Sorry my SJW efforts ruined your “party”, but if your party is cool for you and your friends but sucks for those around you (like this asshole), friggin grow up and be part of the human race. And you obviously can’t judge someone by a few

Yeah, I guess the brother of one of my clients who died of mesothelioma (caused by exposure to asbestos) didn’t “man up” enough.

I don’t think human-driven cars are going to go away all that fast. And if the autonomous car tech can advance well enough on today’s roads, then that just means it will be easier and safer for every new self-driving car added to the roads, and when a human-driven car is removed (through wrecks, break-downs, etc).

Yes. And the building code requirements to deal with flammable liquids is pretty serious.

I’ve done that, and so has a bunch of other smart people. EVs are cleaner throughout their life.
