It’s not. Drew is saying that every set up is washer left, dryer right. I am proof that he is wrong. And in our house now, it’s dryer left and washer right due to the venting & plumbing.

The washer belongs as close to the plumbing as possible. The dryer belongs as close to the outside vent as possible. Why is this complicated?
