I no longer have this problem.  The only person I talk games with regularly anymore is my brother in law.  Our tastes dont completely mesh, but there is some over lap.  Got another buddy who games, but he favors turn based strategy games because he plays while at work and has to be able to stop cold when something

Well said! Each and every one of use have probably experienced exactly what you explain in your comment. Heck, I just did, playing this exact game, going through the Phazon mines for the first time over 20 years.

I think backtracking causes annoyance because modern social media and just changes in little societal things make everyone feel like they need to move on to the next thing.  Metroid is literally a metroidvania, backtracking is a huge portion of it.  Ive fallen into the, beat the game and move on to the next one.

Im inclined to believe that this Remaster helps test Prime 4's potential on the Switch.

Depending on the game, I don’t mind save points. It mostly hasn’t bothered me in the Metroid series, and is definitely a facet of them. In fact it can really add to the intensity of the game, when you have explored far into unknown territory and are low on health and desperately hoping that every room you open will

This was a really compelling review! It’s really cool to about a newcomer’s experience to the series, and to be reminded about about how non-male-friendly that era of gaming was.

Only with video games is shit like this permitted. If that were a novel instead, no one would dare try to censor something like this and it would instead become a best-seller with high praise for the author’s courage.

Funny, since the fact that Nintendo won’t issue proper social features is what drove so many people to a specific unofficial server to be social about the game, which in turn helped contribute to this happening.

1. They don’t.

People will literally do anything for attention, whether participating in a real-life squid game or defending a giant rich corporation on the internet.

The biggest blow with this news that a lot of gaming fans might miss is a lot of people from indie devs to journalists to all others losing the access to networking opportunities. E3 wasn’t just the outward facing multi billion dollar advertisement, there was a whole world behind the curtain that’s just going to get

Any news was news back in those days. I was always in love with GameFan and NextGen(eration).  GameFan had the highest quality screeenshots and NextGen was written journalistically like a newspaper.  Ah...memreez...

Eh, for me that excitement kind of died with the 24/7 internet gaming news cycle. Seeing the post E3 copy of EGM in the mailbox was like Christmas in July.

End of an era.

I get that people hate this guy, but I’d give him credit for the fact that his apology has no bs contortions. He says sorry, calls himself a fool, and admits that the pokemon is a tribute more than anything. I do remember him making a similar statement earlier where he sounded more self-congratulatory about the whole

Assuming you’re asking why the Japanese name is similar to Geller’s name, I’ll see if I can explain.

This, and thank you for saying it. There’s a LOT of pissy virtue-signaling going on here. Just because YOU don’t like something, doesn’t mean it should be taken away from everyone. And if you truly think like that, then congratulations you’re most of the way to being fully republican.

You don’t have to love them, but “Influencer” - capital I - is a viable job title in the 2020s.

I understand that China has the ability to exert some measure of influence through TikTok. However, banning TikTok means taking significant financial resources out of the American economy. You don’t have to love them, but “Influencer” - capital I - is a viable job title in the 2020s. Ignore the big earners - the

While I loathe the original concept of their leaked new OGL and glad they got the pushup they received, it is important to remember WoTC is a company, not a charity. They exist to make money first and foremost, as all companies do. The original OGL was written before digital content was even really a thing, D&D was
