With all the cash Starcraft has raked in over the past 10 years, not to mention how much money Blizzard just has in general, I could see them just dumping money into it until they are satisfied with the quality and too hell with stockholder and marketing strategies. Ya, that trailer is crap. It doesn't even remotely show game play. That looked like sets from the game, as if we just got to see the sets from Guitar Hero without the actual game play in some utterly pointless commercial.
This genre is intriguing. Not because I want to rape anyone, but for the same reason an FPS is intriguing. It's something that you will never do in real life, or would really want to do in real life, so making a game out of it is the only way you will really see this.
