I've had many of these conversations over the past several months. And I've been trying to sharpen my perspective on this problem, the problem of the "how do I help," question. I offer these comments with compassion and great respect for your commitment to children and families:

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who found the second half of this video to be unexpectedly moving....

The short answer is that it's because they're not demonstrating the lane, they're showing the players who are playing that position, like a wide receiver or a defender. They have their default position, but they're not always going to be exactly there.

Nah — we are very interested in telling people about new games they wouldn't have heard of without us. I'm sure I've single-handedly been responsible for turning thousands of people onto Trails in the Sky and Danganronpa.

So, a long time ago, I developed a pretty basic theory about how we respond to games: the closer to a game's release, the less critical of we are. There's just something about how the act of play changes our brain chemistry, and not necessarily in the best ways.

The important question: Do any of the animators have special pencils that could be cursed by someone from the Dark Kingdom?
