Well, I think maybe his wife read it. She apologized (for him) some weeks later.

Yeah, if that were a problem for me, I'd've redacted the station letters, too. :)

Aye, I did!

I did that once - except the guy was stealing my cable. Since I also got my phone through my cable, I was pretty cheesed. It was disrupting both my internet and my phone service, so had there been an emergency at my house, there'd've been no way to punch out to e-services.

There should be an iPad app and appropriate VGA-to-iPlug cable that can simulate a monitor. Then you only carry one around, and you just run a cable up to your top bay, cut a hole, and attach it. Maybe the plug could even split at the bottom and plug in as a USB keyboard, too. Just run that plug up to your bay cover

If it's blocked at your workplace, I wouldn't try to use something else. They may not be able to see what you're sending, but they'll see the connection. And seeing a hole without seeing what's going through it is a heart-stopping event for a security-minded IT guy.

I really like this solution. I was trying to figure out a good way to keep my house key in my wallet. If only I could use a slimmer key!

Do publishers think that by reading their article, I'm indicating that I want to endorse it? Do I want the parents of my students to see that I read it and think that it's therefore something I would suggest their children read?

Reading the article and viewing the pictures at G+, it really does kindof look like that item you linked. The glass portion is nowhere near big enough for full frame coverage.

Could one use Vitamin C tablets, finely crushed? No idea how to keep it from reacting immediately when you add the water. Perhaps a weak buffer and a slow mixing process? It has been 14 years since HS Chemistry...

I SO want one of those. Do they make them with in-line gauges and actuator buttons, or are they pretty much just "press on to start, pull off to stop" deals?

That was my first thought when I read this article, too.

I don't think so. I will eat a lemon slice directly, peel and all. I kindof like the flavor.

Thank you to all of you for your thoughts. Jeremy, I did not know they published service manuals for lawnmowers. I have always bought the Haynes books for all of my cars, but I never even thought to look for something like that for a mower.

Hey!

I, OTOH, am a proud owner of a dumbphone. My phone does everything I need it to do. I don't need to access facebook all hours of the day. I don't need to access my personal email at all hours of the day. If I get a job where they require me to be able to access my work email 24 hours a day, then they should either pay

As long as they didn't evolve at the same time...eew.

There is a high-deductible restriction on HSA's. That is, you have to have a high enough deductible before you can open one. I think I read $1200 for single and $2400 for family coverage? But I'm not sure.
