Additionally, if you collapse your "starred" messages, when you "Select All", it won't include the starred messages.

Well, no, I think they meant "literally", but this is not exactly true. They were referring to Sodium (Na) and Chlorine (Cl), which are the two elements present in Table Salt. If it's iodized, it will contain a few other elements as well. A minute point, but true nevertheless.

Or just learn to flex those muscles that make the crow's feet.

I can't believe anyone would post something about laughing at people with morals! Helixthe2nd you should think twice about posting things like that. You probably aren't serious, but someone might actually start laughing at people and get themselves in real trouble!

Unfortunately, I've been to plenty of presentations where the person doing the presenting had NOT done enough preparation. Yes. "Learn your topic" is necessary advice. Because some people are foolish enough to try to present something they barely know.

Here's my advice as a music teacher: Buy a recognized, quality name. Many instruments can be worked on or repaired if broken. But cheap side-brands, aside from having poor sound quality to start with, will be unfixable if they break. You'll just buy a new one.

It sounds like your company is not going to find many qualified people who know what they're worth.

I think more important is to know what YOUR walk-away point is, and have some idea of what THEIRS is. And you DO have a walk-away point. Everyone does. It may be lower than it used to be, but if they offered you minimum wage, you'd probably laugh and walk off. Your time is, if I had to guess, more valuable than that

:-) I probably should've clarified what I'm coming FROM...I am, in fact, a teacher! And a good one, though I know many who are better. I may never move from the job; I'm just looking for other options. I imagine it might make the tough days easier if you can go home knowing you have options.

Ok, y'all, so here's a question for you:

I was thinking very similar thoughts. I've cut x's in tennis balls to make chair-leg slides. It's a pain in the tookus!

Seriously. You get to watch free content. Just let the darned ads play! What are you going to do for that 1:15 anyway? You'll probably be up refilling your water glass or something. So just get up, let the ads play, and go about your business.

OTA HD, man. Fox, NBC, and CBS all air some NFL coverage. Get a decent antenna and watch the free stuff to your heart's content!

Oneiric Ocelot? Sounds dreamy...

Hmm.

Great advice. Wish I could find the "approve" button. :)

Ain't got no place to lay your head?
