I’m reading the tweets from Ms. Price linked in the article, and the archived tweets of Mr. Fries as well.

I don’t understand what you’re getting at. Are people not allowed to be interested in content that got chopped in one of their favorite games? Finding partially built game modes still within game code is fascinating to me, personally, but I’m also interested in the behind the scenes stuff that goes on with game

My best guess is it’s the arena PVP segment of the game that got cut. They had one in both DS1 and DS2. In Dark Souls 1, you could enter the Battle of Stoicism zone after beating Artorias. In Dark Souls 2, there was both the Brotherhood of Blood and Blue Sentinels arenas.

For me, my zen is Strategy RPGs. The ones that are buttholes to the player like harder difficulties in Fire Emblem games are my go-to stress relief games. So, I empathize even if I don’t exactly like “stressful” games to relax otherwise. If I’m in a bad mood, something like Destiny 2 PVP or Dark Souls or anything like

You gotta remember, the NHL is fucking *terrible* at marketing itself, let alone anything NHL-adjacent like a video game. I’m not sure the NHL is smart enough to license their league to more than one game company at a time seeing as they aren’t smart enough to license their actual TV product to more than one TV

I think I agree with you. Emotionally, the payoff wasn’t ever quite there for me with the story.

Thank you! This is good information.

Even if there weren’t female soldiers in the army, etc., there were a lot of female freedom fighters. Especially in France after it got occupied by the Nazis. So many stories of bad-ass women doing awesome spy shit. If a game company wants to let people live out their dreams of being a WW2 female soldier, I have zero

If Gambit mode counts towards my Crucible powerful engram every week, I will be so happy. Never having to touch that cancerous mode again would make me tremendously happy.

The thing is, they’ve kind of done a pretty good job of that throughout the series, just not when the new fighter was INTRODUCED. Mario and Luigi were pretty identical in Smash 1 but got dramatically changed from each other in Smash 2, for example. Besides, Clone characters are still part of a way of life in the Smash

Every Fire Emblem game has something different about it that I appreciate. Makes them all stand out from each other, at least, even if the overall feel is pretty similar.

I’m with you. I actually quit playing Smash Bros games with my friends over the last decade or so, despite loving them growing up, because I was the only one who enjoyed the chaos of having items on. I mean, after the original game and Melee, we already kind of knew who was best at the game anyway so what’s the fun in

A mix of Destiny 2 and Dark Souls: Remastered.

The Mega Man NES games are some of my favorite of all time. I play through them regularly.

I figured I would provide a bit more in-depth help re: character creation and spellcasters.

So, I ran into this Strike while doing Heroic Strikes. The mod that day was “enemy melee attacks are instant death.”

I’m just looking forward to there being a lot of people on the servers for some PVP shenanigans, mostly. Also being able to reliably group with friends.

Anyone play on PC and have an active clan?

Really? Any time I encounter a ship with jumps, it attempts to DFA me. Like, almost every time.

Washington has got to be the most snake-bit sportstown across all sports right now. The Capitals run into their nightmare every postseason. The Wizards can’t get over the “actually being good” hump. The Nationals seem to lose a key pitcher to injury year after year. The Washington Football Franchise is a thing that
