Not gonna lie, Heather. You didn’t strike me as the Battletech type. I guess in hindsight that’s a weird assumption on my part because I know you love strategy games (or at least Fire Emblem).

I really enjoyed this show. I was expecting it to just play off the metal singer gag solely, but it actually had some real relatable heart to it.

So today, when the Washington Post reported that the Homer Simpson of presidents told the crowd at a Florida event that “human trafficking is worse than it’s ever been in the history of the world,” I finally figured it out.

I wonder how difficult it was for them to include this option.

Spelunky is actually about accidentally pissing off shopkeepers and having to deal with a murderous horde of salesman for the rest of the game. I am not sure you can convince me otherwise.

I loved Shadows of War. I had a *lot* of fun with it. Got it for Christmas and was absorbed into it for a solid two months playing all the time. And I can jump back into it any day when I feel like mindless orc subjugation. It’s a really fun game.

It was a movie. Spielberg is still the master at framing action scenes. When shit is going down, you’re watching the movie.

Was it because of the ratings policy or were you paying with a credit card? Just curious. If they wanted ID to go with a card, even if it’s just for a three dollar game, I wouldn’t be too upset personally.

I tried this once and found I was actually less successful than when I ran a regular pilot in that mech. It’s really not hard to utilize it the way they intended. I usually just rush it to get near where the enemies spawn and then freeze it and any building, vek or ally that’s in danger every turn. Super good at

So this is how Japanese games get their subtitles. Just add some nonsensical English punctuation and you’ve got the next hit anime game on Steam.

Hah, I really enjoyed that Corpse Run. Definitely happened to me on more than one 90s JRPG.

Norton’s depiction of the Hulk is technically canon to the MCU. It’s just the actor got replaced because Norton backed out of the contract or didn’t renew into it once the MCU took off as a thing, I think. One of those two things.

Can we get Nick Blood to play Hunter in this too? Please say we do. I miss him on Agents of Shield. One of the best characters in that whole show.

I vaguely remember reading that “I before E except after C” rule is actually wrong. There are more words that go CIE than CEI, rendering the second part of that mnemonic incorrect. Actually, let me google this real quick.

The Warhammer 40k fan in me loved The Dark World only because I realized the Dark Elves in that were depicted pretty much how the Dark Eldar fight in the 40k universe (just with less, uh... rape. That’s a good thing.) Seeing as we’re never going to get a Warhammer movie, I took it as the next closest thing I’d ever

Did you play the Star Ocean 2 remake on PSP? It dramatically improved the voice acting. It and the Star Ocean 1 remake also on PSP were excellent.

Aren’t those stones what power Karn? Besides, the M:TG universe is about as good at keeping things dead as most comic books except within the construct of the abilities and powers on cards, anything really is possible so it doesn’t feel as cheap.

I’m still a decade behind. The ones I played as a kid were called Dragon Warrior so that’s stuck with me, my bad.

Obviously Dragon Warrior is their top franchise and Star Ocean games live on still (kind of), but they had a string of awesome games back on the SNES. ActRaiser 1 and 2 are some of my favorite platformers of all time. Soul Blazer/Illusion of Gaia/Terranigma were also way ahead of their time and still quite fun today.
