Agreed.
Agreed.
As much as I miss having him on the floor, I hope he hangs it up and if he stays in the NBA, goes the pundit or coaching route. He’s an entertaining guy so I think he’d be good in one of the various basketball talk shows.
I can’t imagine doing Alm’s route without a second cleric, and Faye is *extremely good* as a cleric. Much more so than any of the male villagers, and even Silque.
Funny how a game emulating the 90s actually did boxes right, then.
GamerCat hit on something I’ve been talking about forever. It’s kind of silly how every game does this, too.
There’s only been one team in the history of the NBA post season that won a best-of-7 series while down 3-1.
Another tip: Every mage and cleric ends up getting access to different spells (including the villagers who can all turn into one or the other.)
I kind of like Max Kellerman, or at least I did before he got hired on Hot Take. That entire show kind of makes people the worst versions of themselves. Probably because of Smith and the lingering ghost of Skip Bayless.
How about we do what smart people do, and look to what other similar establishments do? We’ve sort of had individual sports since ancient times and coaches have long been a thing. How do some of those sports utilize them?
I am so hype. As much as I enjoyed Awakening and Fates, they weren’t the balls-to-the-wall tactical experiences that Blazing Sword and Radiant Dawn were. Awakening was a lot like Sacred Stones in that you could just grind your way to victory, and Fates was trying to appeal to every single possible Fire Emblem fan so…
The supports work like they did in the old GBA titles, except I believe there isn’t a limit of only being able to get 5 total support convos. An in-depth rundown can be found here:
The issues I had with the game are still there, which is the relative strength of gear, and absolutely terrible balancing between the different heroes, and core gameplay that eventually devolved from how the developers envisioned it.
I take it you don’t have kids, Patricia? My nieces already play the Wii U on the Wii U’s big pad remote dealio. I imagine the Switch would be like that, but better because every game on the Switch is designed to run on the go instead of just some of them.
Zion Heaven? I’m willing to bet $10 bucks that person is Mormon.
I have only played the games released in English, as well, but hang out on the Discord for FE Heroes and have learned a lot about the older titles from the other weebs there. Fun times!
If only they’d give those who buy it free orbs to use in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Growth rates are stunted because the effect of each stat matters more. I believe you gain follow up attacks now with a single point of spd over the enemy, so it’s kind of a big deal.
Gaiden didn’t have weapon durability. Fates actually took that from Gaiden. Weapons themselves are a lot more rare as a result. My initial plan for this game was to just use a shitload of mages and archers because they have a whopping 5 range this game, but the issue is you kind of need to have a well-rounded team so…
I am 100,000,000% okay with a mod only being usable on legitimate copies of a game.
I know he’s trying. He’s making more of an effort now than he has in 20 years. I’m as much to blame at this point as he is because I kind of gave up trying. It’s just really hurtful to ask someone’s opinion about a color scheme and their response doesn’t even mention the thing you worked on at all, but how you could…
