That’s good to hear. Being a comic book property shouldn’t count against her either, not after Watchmen’s success.

I feel like if Strange shows up it will be after the party is over, maybe even post -credits, offering magical mentorship to Wanda

The series lost me as it went. Ritter and Tennant were very good, but I thought JJ really suffered from the Netflix bloat of too many episodes, too long of episodes

You didn’t care for JJ1 and Kilgrave??

I only cared for Daredevil S1, personally, and each successive show to me was just endless hours of people talking in rooms repeating the things we’ve seen in scenes before. They didn’t just spin their wheels, they were just straight up idling in the parking lot.

I assume it is meant as a comics easter egg yes, as the whole point of the Nexus is to connect to other realities, and the concept of reality as deeply ingrained in the commercial.

Oh, is that a comics easter egg?

That comment seems to imply M hasn’t finished the first season? Granted I think the show worked either way at the time since if the dog really never existed then it shouldn’t have been as big a deal as if someone did that in real life now. Somehow.

Netflix et al shows where nothing would happen for seven episodes but they made sure to wear out their welcome with 65-minute no-fun episodes.

The commercial does lean very heavily into the Nexus, as in the Nexus of all realities.

She got to do a superhero landing twice! Once when she first made it through the barrier, the other after going toe-to-toe with Wanda.

But wasn’t he technically evil at the time? On the podcast they mentioned that it was a deliberate kick-the-dog moment to foreshadow the revelation that he was demon and they were in hell.

It doesn’t even have to be the X-Men one

I don’t see why not. They have certainly allowed plenty of plots, objects, and even characters to go back and forth, regardless of how much Kevin Feige might not go out of the way to acknowledge the past TV shows.

That Nexus commercial means he could still be Fox Pietro, though...

That’s right! That might be theDarkhold” an ancient book of spells from Marvel Comics. Good call.

Killing a dog doesn’t make her evil. Michael kicked a dog into the sun on The Good Place and he’s the architect of Eleanor and Chidi’s heaven. That reminds me, I really need to finish watching season one.

Well depending on how close they are sticking to the comics, Agatha was a “good guy” for a quite a bit of it, and an eventual mentor to Wanda.

After this week, a bigger bad reveal would feel like a waste. This was Agatha’s coming out moment...and almost certainly places her on par with Loki and other big time MCU villains.

“And I killed Sparky too!”
