Can’t stand her music, but man she is my number 1 celeb crush. I have always thought she was stunning, but shes addicted to being in love hence the long trail of ex boyfriends.

But still, we have to ask, Taylor: What did these pianos ever do to you?

There's something about the bartender that makes me think she's in the loop too. Her attitude over the different receptions seems to change just enough to make it possible. I could be looking for something that isn't there, but she's the fifth. I think.

They spent a lot of effort to actually make it pretty accurate, which is one of the things I really liked about it.

-and it had consequences that however many times he did before obviously didn’t.

[Spoilers, but answered since it was a direct question]

Saw it. It’s terrific. Nails what it’s like to actually work on a warship under intense stress and what good command looks like, and while it’s slightly iffy on the history it’s a great watch.

It was very cool. Nothing more or less than what it is, a destroyer fighting off U-Boats to protect a convoy during an Atlantic crossing during WWII

Can Tom Hanks follow the president’s example and declare himself a war hero?

Well, this blows. When I saw this popping up, I assumed that it was another 10-part, Tom Hanks-produced miniseries about WWII, this time about the merchant marine service.  I would watch that.

I hope they set the sequel in the Pacific Theater so they can visit the Isle of Dogs.

They’re CGI dogs. Tom Hanks plays the main character, Captain Butch, a gruff greyhound in an adorable hat.

That’s one hundred percent not the argument I’m making. Put ‘em all online. My hope is that it encourages people to see theatre live when that’s something that’s possible again.

Theater is a live artform, its ephemeral nature the source of its magic.

well it did here, so.....

I was confused by the beginning of the episode. The diver and that other person were pulled under and killed, presumably by the octopus, but the octopus was in the cooler. I can presume there was more than one octopus, but if it’s so smart and dangerous, how did they get the first one in the cooler?

...not sure about the Twilight Zone , but Picard was quite good , rather than remake TNG , (a show of the 80s and early 90s ), it was its own thing.

It’s interesting to think about the opening joke as being dreamlike, it struck me as being extremely writerly and awkward (not as performed, the actor makes it seem natural as dialogue, it’s just kind of... immersion breaking).

So the secret to a good modern Twilight Zone episode is to have Jordan Peele write it and stack the cast?
