Psshhht--that was five hours ago.  There’s over 3000 results now!

That song has been stuck in my head since the first episode.  Honestly I’ve been pretty impressed with the musical cues in this show so far.  Most songs seem to be chosen with lyrics that fit the moment, but don’t beat you over the head with them (at least to my thinking).

Hey now—Metal US Tour was one of the best tours of it’s time!  It was VERY Metal!  And took place in the U.S.!

Ha—I’ve gotten “Thing” vibes from the corpsicle every second it’s on screen. I feel like it has to be deliberate on the part of the creators.

In fairness to the other commenter, there aren’t many shows with details like this made anymore (that I can think of, at least).  Most shows anymore I can watch with one eye and follow with no problem--this isn’t one of those shows.  I certainly understand how anyone is used to a show spelling everything out or having

There are so many details packed into this show so quickly that I discovered pretty early in I can’t ‘divide my time’ looking at my phone or whatever without missing things.  I think the only reason I even knew what the reviewer was talking about is that I’m actively making myself focus on the show (which, hey, is a

I 100% thought it was a body and didn’t realize it actually might not be until these comments (and I’m still not entirely convinced it’s not a body under all that).   As far as rushing away goes, that wouldn’t be too shocking considering if it is a body it’s been there a really long time undiscovered.  Seems like it

It definitely IS graphic, but it’s also a fantastic film and one of Foster’s best performances.

I am digging how they are really leaning into the ‘detective’ part of the title this season. Creepy vibes all the way around in this setting, of course, but hey—at least they don’t have to deal with vampires like the poor bastards over in Barrow...I mean, probably, but the supernatural elements so far in this season

I think it’s difficult to realize just how much Netflix has always had due to ‘menu exhaustion’—it’s a daunting task to just browse, sometimes, when they’ve had literally thousands of movies and shows at any given time.

Thinking over films I’ve seen that I’d absolutely love to see on the biggest screen possible.  Out of recent releases Dune part 1 and Prey (which, if it didn’t owe so much to the first Predator, would be the best Predator movie hands down.  It might still be).  I missed Arrival in theaters, but that’s another.  From

Right?  I was surprised when I heard it got a second season (which I think I watched but genuinely don’t remember).

The first season was a pleasant surprise, but the second season really stretched it thin.  I have very little faith a third season would have been watchable.

Ha! Low key one of the best things about quitting drinking (five years sober as of last November!) that people don’t talk about is the amount of money you save. Being a ‘social alcoholic’ is expensive as hell. Now, I buy the $9 free refills soda cup that it seems every venue has anymore and that’s it. Even if I buy a

As a dad in his 50's who bought tickets to the Green Day/Rancid/Smashing Pumpkins tour the day they went on sale...for $300...I think the establishment won years ago.

Ha yeah they definitely have that vibe.  Still, better than average adaptations and the cast is always impressive.  You may be on to something in that they probably just want to do some ‘old school movie-making’.  Although now that I think about it there were a lot of effects in the last one...

As much as it sucks, the ‘highly deadly’ ones typically die out fast. Those kinds of variants kill themselves off by being too deadly--if they kill faster than they spread the danger is small...except for the poor bastards that get it during that initial spread.

Fuck it--just make it a two week run, every six weeks.  Eventually it WILL make money.

Well then we’re all doomed already, I think.

Have to admit I liked him more than I thought I would as Hercule in those Agatha Christie films.  He’s chewing the absolute shit out of all the scenery in those films.
