I laughed, but I’m not gonna lie--seeing the Ted Kord Beetle in the last trailer gave me a nerd-chubby.

You don’t get it though--He’s REALLY fast!  I mean--like really, really fast.

Honestly you’ll probably like it okay if you go in expecting it to be shit.  I often am pleasantly surprised by not hating a thing as much as everyone tells me I will.

This is one they definitely would have been better off just releasing straight to HBO MAX or MAX or whatever the hell they’re calling it this week.  Would have saved them a fortune in marketing and maybe some face.

It is not better than either of those. Or the new MI for that matter.

Parts of the bad CGI were intentional--I’m not sure the bad CGI during the slow-mo hospital rescue scene was intentional (and was a basic rip off of something the X-Men movies had already done much better).   I feel like that probably wasn’t intentional.

But I really want to know what FREEDOM sounds like!  In my head it’s a bald eagle screaming while being choked to death, but I’m pretty sure I’m making up that sound as I don’t recall ever being exposed to something like that before.

I think you might be onto something:  McQuarrie maybe is just playing the long game and this is all an elaborate plan to kill Tom Cruise.

You can see him break his ankle!  Still impressed they left that cut in the film--even without knowing he broke his ankle it looked painful as hell, and for him to drag himself and keep acting after doing that is...well, he’s got the blood of Xenu in him for sure.

That Cavill/Cruise/buff scary guy fight in the bathroom is the best fight across the entire franchise.  Every second of that fight felt brutal, and everyone in it seemed convincingly tired and in pain all through it.

Considering the last one was probably the best (I saw this latest entry about a week ago) and that this is consistently the best action franchise going I’d say it’s worth it. MI:2 was the weak spot of all the movies for sure—it’s not a good MI film OR a good John Woo movie, unfortunately, but the rest are solid. 4, 5…

Well here we are a year later, with the Flash movie bombing.  I think the stories of him taking his own speakers into bars to drown out the house music must have gotten out, because that is next-level asshole.

I didn’t try Necro until my fifth character, and holy shit they’re so easy compared to Rogue or Barbarian.  Leveled up three times faster and with maybe 1/10th or less of the deaths.  Which for a decently geared character in Diablo seems about right, rather than how brutal the melee classes can be.  Rather than nerf…
