A little part of me believes that if we were to all wish hard enough he'd come back to life. It would be such a Prince thing to do.

Oh yeah—save for that five minute or so part of the second period the rest of the game was really rough. Hopefully they get it together for the trip back to Anaheim…

There is an absolutely delightful clip on youtube of him with the Muppets singing Starfish and Coffee (one of my personal favorites). It's just so Prince.

You should check the intertubes—it's chock full of 'em! …you know, unless you mean a physical copy.

I was at the Predators game last night, and honestly teared up a little bit at the Prince tribute—they played Purple Rain at the game during the second intermission—it was damn near like seeing him again as everyone in attendance was singing along, and kept right on singing for a good 30 seconds after they turned it

One bored me a bit, 2 was better, 3 was great, and 4 is one of my favorite King books of all time. I was very disappointed by the last three.

Having read them all I do hope you're right—there was a good story in there somewhere, but it went so far off the rails at the end that it left me with a "that's it?" feeling.

Literally the only thing I've seen him in is "Cabin in the Woods" but he nailed his character so well that I was like "why haven't I seen this guy in anything else?" when it was over.

Holy shit Carlin would have been awesome (and incredible stunt casting as well) as Blane—now I'm sad we'll never see that.

Yeah—that was the only one of the final three that I really even liked.

I've read them all at least once, but have only repeat-read 2,3 and 4—I have no recollection of Pimli at all. I'm looking forward to seeing who is cast as Blane the mono though.

Very confusing mess is not far off from describing how the series eventually ended up overall—I'm a King fan and I ended up enjoying some of the outlier books more than I did the series as a whole, though Wizard and Glass is in my King top 10.

"Hi, I'm Iron Man! How's everything? Good? Okay I'm leaving then"

Strangely enough his comment has been flagged so I can't reply to it directly, but it just strikes me as odd to come here of all places to look for an adult and somber tone about…well…anything really.

Now it's time to get the Larry Sanders show back on dammit.

Surely this will get moved again—October is a strange release date for a film like this. July or November make more sense.

I just saw the trailer for this….I'm stunned this is actually a real movie. It seems like a joke movie trailer that would be in a real movie.

Geez grandma learn to take a joke. I'll get off your lawn now.

Exactly right—right at the "what will you become" line (suggesting maybe she toys with joining the Empire?)

Right? Did they learn nothing from the failure of The Force Awakens??? Putting a female in the lead is box office suicide!
