Actually Cameron had pretty deliberately filmed it so that we didn't know the policeman was a bad guy. All he did was knock out a police officer and try to find John Conner up to that point. It was really smart film-making given what the audience knew about the first Terminator movie.

Those line up right with the Rotten Tomatoes scores too, and they're all pretty spot-on. This was easily the worst of the bunch, Salvation only slightly better due to having a slightly-more coherent plot. T3 was actually decent popcorn fare and T2 and T1 are rightly remembered as classics.

They state in the movie that he can regrow flesh…which would actually totally negate the effects of aging. They didn't really explain either thing. This movie was so SO much garbage.
