If you’re trying to say the G20 didn’t handle great and wasn’t fun in Touring guise with a manual, you just haven’t driven one. They rotate around the front axle off throttle and pick up the rear inside tire like a Fiesta ST. Darty, fun, light little beater of a thing. 7500 rpm redline is fun, too.

You are so so wrong about this car. The G20 may have looked like a corolla but it was anything but meh. I owned a facelifted 1st gen with a 5 speed and it is one of my favourite cars I have ever owned and weirdly the one I miss the most. The SR20 engine redlined at 8000 rpm and it would screem happily getting there…
