I was at a candy store after BVS came out, and it was hilarious, because there was all this bright, colorful candy and branded packaging (Marvel, Star Wars, My little pony, etc.) then there was this absurd little grimdark corner of the store with the BVS stuff…SUPER SERIOUS Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman with muted…

Yeah, but the aggregate quality stands in the collective memory as goodwill…much like Marvel's boner.

I don't understand what is wrong with being sexist. The whole reason I go to the gym is so I can stay sexist…and, man, it gets harder every year…but I am willing to put in the work so that, just by chance, a LADY might see me and go:"Ooooh…now that there is ONE SEXIST HUNK OF MAN!"

Prediction: They will put on great shows, but nobody will care because they aren't cool.

I kind of like everything on Quad. The "Skippable songs" ("Cut My Hair" ,"The Dirty Jobs", "Helpless Dancer" and "Is It in My Head?") are surprisingly good and important to the overall narrative.

Well, yeah…and there are other flops that people look at the numbers and think weren't flops…like BVS, which made money, but failed to build and/or/maintain the DCU franchise.
