Yeah, but most of us make it to like 25 before we just give up and move away.

My sister and her girlfriend, and myself and my partner, we all “double date” together because then people assume it’s two straight couples and don’t give us shit. They go out together, almost every time they get some arsehole comment about needing a man to show them a good time or offering to show them how to have…
:(
Shit, that’s awful. The fact that they protected each other by crying separately and out of sight just breaks a hippo’s heart. Love should be celebrated, not denegrated. Give them lots of hugs.
I just want to send them the biggest damn hug.
Not all people.
You’re good peeps.
Come for the Tim Bits, stay for the boat oar lectures for jerks! :D.
I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. Just know we’re out there. :)
This happens to my partner and I a lot, even though we live in the bluest city in a very blue state. We’re both fairly femme, and we’re regularly hit on by waiters who think we’re two straight friends. When we correct them, sometimes they’re cool about it, but sometimes the whole “want some company?” thing comes up. A…
This was the most Canadian thing ever. I want to be your BFF now.
Holy balls...I’m sorry they had to deal with that stuff. I live in the bible belt of Canada and been the business end of a pair of friends who have had to deal with that crap too. I’m more on the stompy then stabby spectrum, but when I’m hired to cook a nice valentines dinner for them instead of them going out and…
Right. You grin and bear it, and then leave passive aggressive tips? I know, it is less than ideal. But sticking to your guns in some areas means you are met outside with rioters.
That is a great point. Depending where you live, you might not have much of a choice. Which is even worse. Where I live, I don’t think anyone would be stupid enough to say anything but if they were there are still other places to go. In the middle of the Bible Belt, you are just dodging one insult to run into another.…
Yeah, I agree. Thanks. And I’d like to take this opportunity to say to all the people commenting “They got insulted and still stayed??” that there are lots of places in America where this is the norm. And if you don’t fake smile and stay, then you end up at home with Top Ramen.
😟😡😡😡
My sister, her partner, and I went out for Margarita Monday a while back. This sort of thing happened, and I was like ughhhhhh. They were both laughing like no big deal, we get this all the time. I wanted to cut people’s throats and they were dealing with it in their way by laughing and giving people the face. You…
I don’t know what it is about hibachi in particular but like 1 out of 4 times I go you get the chef that teases and probs to a degree that just almost crosses the line, and they think they’re just being entertaining. I’m not surprised to hear this at all.
It sounds like one of those places where you sit at a grill and the chef cooks for you so he’d be getting the bulk of the tip.
Most hibachi you don't really, aside from bringing drinks or an extra wasabi or something...
