shout it from the rooftops, buddy, I’m with ya.
we know it’s the lady thing, but they just don’t seem to get it. they would insist it isn’t a widespread issue, and not admit to or even see their own casual sexism.
not to mention, not all men are like that, and it’s insulting to imply that. in fact, them being insulted is actually worse than the harassment in the first place!
this. many of the main Gawker commenters are men, and they definitely look down on us.
you are awesome.
and yet, how undignified and asshole-like the passerby seem to have been.
this is fucking awful, I am so angry for you. first of all, what the fuck, the DA doesn’t do “he said she said”? isn’t that like....every legal case?
yeah. Uber and Lyft are basically just trusting that you’re gonna deliver the people safely and aren’t some crazed maniac, though clearly they’re wrong in that trust quite often.
they’re reporting it to Uber because they were assaulted by an Uber driver. Assumably, they’re also reporting it to the police.

usually “bury the lede”/try not to talk about the extent of it, but even mentioning that I’m a librarian has the 9/10 reaction of “ohhh sexy librarian are you gonna tell me to shhh?”
exactly, you’ve really hit the nail on the head. I don’t want to attract everyone, I only need one person.
I would if I was attracted to women :( and also she’s married.
my best friend is a lady lawyer and easily the sexiest person I’ve ever met
one in every port, ya know what I mean *wink wink*
oh god! so much sympathy. my profession also gets fetishized— librarian who works at a museum. :/
In both my tinder and okcupid my first words are “feminist” and the ones shortly following are all the issues I care about and have opinions on. DEFINITELY scares guys away, but also has attracted a handful who want a strong, intelligent woman who actually uses her brain.
maybe you’re the 33 year old with a bad relationship with his mother troll.
I didn’t know much about Nina Simone until I watched that doc. So good. I felt like I woke up the next day with new eyes.
