11 year old me was thunderstruck when I first saw one.

Why aren’t you shirtless?

Gotta try to score brownie points while also simultaneously absolving themselves of any responsibility to make meaningful changes.

Usually carbon neutral means they’re polluting like always, but now they’ve increases prices and fees to have spare money to buy carbon credits. How does a carbon credit get the company to be more pollution-responsible? It doesn’t.

Yeah she said biofuels and veggie food options but that’s reduction not offset. There was no mention of actual offsetting there so I’m not sure how they are actually neutral there.

Is Jalopnik no longer a car website? Is this why David and Torch left?

I’d have the Tuscon over an XC40 every day of the week”

I can see stacks of used lithium ion battery packs becoming the next decade’s version of the tire dump fires.

Totally agree with the “safety gimmicks” and other gizmos. My Mom-in-law recently bought a brand new Acura and she can’t drive it due to all the gadgets and gizmos. She tells me it dies every time she stops and the nav map shows a different city. It left me scratching my head when I took a turn trying to get the radio

The shift basically does need to happen so that, like, Florida can continue to exist, but the rhetoric that electric

I’m on my 2nd Korean car (both of them, car of the year) “Why buy piece of shit Korean cars?” me: “Show me something better for the money” My colleague spent thousands more in something in the same segment. His Lexus feels outdated and behind about a generation or two compared to my Genesis.

I had lane keep assist in a rented Ranger a few years ago and between that & auto start/stop needing to be disabled every time you started the thing... I wanted to drive the damn thing off a pier after 2 wks.

This is certainly worthy of news coverage somewhere. Jalopnik ain’t it. This is not even close to “car culture”...except, wheels are involved?

So I guess with David and Torch leaving, we’re just going to completely give up on stories focusing on vehicles other than “well a bus is kinda involved” then goes full on a political rant. Mercedes, you may want to leave while you can because this isn’t a car site anymore.

Hold on, liberals hate Musk? Did I miss something?
