GR86 and keep the change. If I REALLY want to spend it all, I’m probably going 2024 Mustang GT for that 7500 RPM V8.

7500 rpm near 100 hp/l V8 for the price of an Integra? People will bitch, and the car has flaws, but it's cool this still exists in 2023.

I feel like the Ioniq 5 and 6 are the correct answers. They’re way, WAY more inspired than anything they compete with. I’d argue the guts alone to release such daring and polarizing designs makes them cool from the get go.

I....wait what? The hatch looks amazing.

And this points out a real problem with motoring journalists: many of them want everything sanitized.

The twins are the right choice here. Buy a brand new GR86, second set of wheels for track days, the new “performance pack”, and a whole stack of tires. With a $50k budget you could even do some choice upgrades and have enough left over for a crapload of track days!

I think they’re referring to midsize trucks.

Exactly.

Got quality issues? Here’s a great idea: cut engineering!

This. They look SO GOOD in person, good drivetrain too.

This.

Gr86 is definitely the correct answer here.

I see you aren’t familiar with how expensive emissions testing is.

Eh, pretty much any 20+ year old car is going to begin to have a lot of problems, so why not look cool as hell and buy this?

I *should* be the target audience for this car, but they’re comparing this to the wrong vehicles.

I do not think this is a good looking car, and no one I’ve spoken to (before now) has thought it was good looking. Acura’s design language is...not class leading. I think the CTR is better looking.

Let’s see....the obvious is a GTI and save $20k for a track car?

I would have bought one, I was very excited when the Integra in general was launched.

It's good looking compared to an M3 I guess.

One with FWD no less. This car is ridiculous.
