I think Acura believe they’re Porsche, but unlike a 911 GT3 this doesn’t have an engine from the gods.

Tesla, unless something VERY drastically changed.

The performance is probably more than it looks like from the outside, this is like a 300 hp GR86.

If I’m a buyer who “knows weight is the enemy” and “refuses to accept an auto” I’ll get a GR86 and have $25k left over.

If you REALLY want a compact 4-cyl performance car, a CLA45 AMG will absolutely smoke this thing for $5k more, plus you get a nicer interior and the bragging rights of having a Benz.

Good point. Original Integra was a sporty but affordable coupe, no one was trying to sell it as a 3-series competitor.

Eh....M340i was a WAY better interior, is faster, and only costs $5k more.

I think Acura don’t want to build any.

Yea, I was really excited for the new Integra but it’s too expensive in all forms. The base version is a joke, and this is taking the piss.

Can you tell me with a straight face you’d drop $60k on one of these?

Every time I hear about battery-electric “speedboats” that only do 40 mph for 30 minutes I laugh.

Um, no.

It’s interesting because stretching your budget to get one makes more sense than basically any other car.

If knee surgery is what I have to do to listen to that car every day, so be it.

Cayman is probably the right answer.

I’m tempted to simply mock this.

Maybe they did such a bad job on the Integra because they were actually working on these?

Hope they didn't put the Integra team on these.

Can’t wait for all the BEV lovers to slide in and explain why this isn’t real or relevant.

Oh god, I wasn’t aware such horrors existed!
