Let’s be honest, this has always been F1's problem. To become a real long-term F1 fan you REALLY have to be into the technical side of the sport, the chance your favorite driver/team will be competitive for a long period of time is virtually nil. Everyone wants to talk about the boring racing these days, but 2010-2014

This is the major downside to having a temporary track setup, particularly in Miami. You have to justify the cost of building and tearing down the whole thing, so prices are bound to be insane.

For me drifting is like Golf. Kind of makes sense as an un-serious hobby, doesn’t make any sense to me as something people would do as a profession or watch on TV.

Ferrari F1 need to make this guy team principal.

Remember, electric bikes don’t use a gearbox so you don’t get multiplication.

Torque is an instantaneous number, it means nothing for range.

I like the fox body cause it’s light and cheap to modify. I can recognize that there’s reasons someone would buy an uglier car over a better looking one.

....I’m not sure people buying $100k sports cars care. These aren’t Mustang GTs.

I mean, I’m sure the Cayman would sound amazing with an aftermarket exhaust too.

Compared to....what exactly? I’d say Audi are the only remotely affordable brand consistently better than H/K, and you’re talking about a way higher average sale price.

And I guess that’s why having options is good! Personally, I don’t enjoy supercharger whine and I don’t lug my sports cars. I prefer the revs and sound of the Cayman. I tend to use the RPM frequently on my “sunny day” cars, I suppose if you were going to DD one of these things the instant boost of the supercharger

I think the Hyundai/Kia praise comes not from the fact that they’re making Aston Martin quality designs, but from how shit most automaker’s design is.

I think the problem is that the Cayman, at least in 4.0 form, has a way better engine. For a car that will spend most of its time driving well below the limit, the sound and revs matter to a lot of people I think.

I’d say the interior looks even more dated than the exterior. That interior is BAD.

The subprime auto loan crisis begins.

This surprises me due to the inaccuracy of GPS, I wonder if they’re triangulating like a VBox to increase accuracy.

It seems like a lot of people are confused about why the CVCC engine was so revolutionary.

Yea, they’re just making sure that they can never be blamed for an accident involving speeding. If their speedo read a bit low, say someone was going 80 when it says 75, and there was an accident where a person died, the lawsuit would be insane.

You’re right, it should probably be a weight + frontal area calculation so that you’re taking into account both forms of damage and lack of efficiency.

It’s out of control.
