Every once in a while, we need to be reminded of the real purpose of the internet.

In big letters, for all the Ford execs to see:

To be honest, I don't mind the 5 door hatch. Shorter doors to get in and out of in tight spaces, easier to load up, or get passengers in, and lower insurance cost. Plus, I don't think it looks much worse than a 3 door.

A study needs to be done to figure out if this is all in their heads or not.

Ford really needs to shorten the time between a reveal and a release.

Equally impatient. Summer 2012 for the Focus ST (on Ford's website). Probably 2013 or even 2014 for the Fiesta ST.

One of the biggest complaints about the Focus ST is the fact that it's a 5 door hatch.... why not get that? Yes, it's bigger, but if you have kids or pets, that's better. Plus, it will have more power and quicker acceleration.

This is 'merika. Any car is small compared to the SUVs littering our roadways.

You can turn next to everything off. Whether or not that will help...

I'm a dog, and what is th... squirrel!

They are working on a 1.6L Ecoboosted Fiesta ST. Whether or not it will come stateside, and with 3 doors, has yet to be seen. It would probably have around 180 hp, so it's not going to be catching up to it's big brother, but it should still be a fun little car.

I think every ST that's told it's coming to America would actually be depressed.

Well, duh. It comes with a happy little "hoodie ninja" girl. Who cares if it couldn't hold a flame to the ST... hoodie ninja

MS3: "Hiya, ST, wanna go race. Do ya? Do ya?"

Hatches are becoming more popular though. I don't have the numbers on hand, but apparently the latest Focus Hatch has been very popular.

I love the front end.

Ford has stated that fuel economy was important in the design of this car. Because of that, it will have better fuel economy than the MS3 or WRX

Define outperform. The Mazda Speed 3 has more HP and torque, but due to excessive torque steer, it has difficulty putting that on the road.

Please release this soon, Ford. I'm dying to get behind the wheel of one.

Actually, they've talked about it being lower than that, competing with the 23k Mazda Speed 3
